We have an excellent career opportunity as a Sales Executive (hunter) with a leading US manufacturer of customized engineered flexible die cut & engineered specialty components for manufacturing customers?
The company offers a base salary, guaranteed commissions, plus uncapped sales commissions, company car, and other strong medical and full-time employee benefits. They also offer profit sharing quarterly. Some Reps. make +200-300K/year (or more) after commissions & profit sharing after growing the territory.
This global manufacturing company is searching for a Sales professional in Ohio (remote position) to provide custom die cut or converted materials and intricate value-added component solutions into Automotive / Transportation, Industrial, Medical Device / Wearables, LED lighting, and other OEM manufacturing markets.
The position is responsible for:
- Strategic new business development / Hunting
- New customer acquisition / building a new territory.
- Sales project management
- Material specifications for Gaskets, Die-Cuts, Tapes, Foams, Rubber, Silicones, Plastics and Converted Materials
The role works directly with engineers at customers on prototyping, component fabrication, pre-production support, identifying, recommending solutions and applying proof of concept support.
The company requires:
- minimum of 3-10 years of Sales hunting experience
- strong understanding of the DFM industry design cycle
- the person must have a hunter mentality and technical aptitude.
- the ability to do presentations with customers and colleagues and manage multiple projects.
-Develop and execute a sales plan to help achieve personal and company goals and objectives
-Explain and demonstrate technical aspects of products available
-Forecast, solicit and secure orders from potential and existing customers
-Maintain professional relationship with key persons on all accounts
-Prepare periodic reports
-Secure opportunities to quote on customer requirements in diverse manufacturing markets (industrial, automotive, medical device wearables, IOT, electronics, etc.)
-Understand customer processes and sell value versus price
-Utilize solutions-based selling skills
-Travel up to 40% in sales territory
-Minimum of 5-10 years of successful sales experience in industrial sales direct to Electronics, Industrial, OEM’s, Medical Device OR Automotive / Transportation markets.
-A willingness to work independently and as part of a team
-Experience in solution selling
-Ability to present in a professional manner and possess excellent presentation and communication skills (both verbal and written)
-Previous experience in a problem-solving environment
-Experience selling in the industrial market arena
-Extensive customer following
-Familiarity with Engineered Materials, Gaskets, Die Cutting, Converting, or Fabricated Products from suppliers such as 3M, Tesa, Avery, Rogers, and other thin flexible materials
-Excellent computer skills
-Outstanding sales preparation and organizational skills
-Creative problem solving

(1st year total compensation 90-120k total range or more for the right person with uncapped potential. Some reps have made 200k+ in the first 1-2 years).
