Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to oversee the sales of flexible packaging solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing key account relationships, and achieving sales targets within the BOPP Extrusion Lamination segment. The ideal candidate will have a strong network and positive relationships with top Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) companies’ procurement decision-makers. This role requires the ability to identify and secure bid opportunities and quotations, with a focus on delivering sales conversions within the 2024 timeframe.



Key Responsibilities:
  1. Sales Strategy and Execution:
    • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
    • Leverage existing network and relationships to generate leads and secure bid opportunities within the BOPP Extrusion Lamination segment.
  2. Customer Relationship Management:
    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key CPG companies’ procurement decision-makers.
    • Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.
  3. Product and Service Focus:
    • Promote the company’s service focus, emphasizing above-average Flexo printing quality and on-time, in-full (OTIF) performance.
    • Highlight the company’s capability to serve large runs, medium runs, and short runs, leveraging available production capacity.
  4. After-Sales Service Follow-Up:
    • Coordinate with production teams to load orders into the production program and ensure timely delivery.
    • Facilitate raw materials requests to maintain sufficient availability based on customer rolling forecasts.
    • Participate in daily production meetings to ensure alignment with customer requirements.
    • Oversee logistics from the plant to the warehouse in Dallas, TX, and releases from the warehouse to customer plants.
  5. Technical and Design Support:
    • Attend technical meetings with customers to optimize the performance of flexible packaging in their packing machines, with support from the R&D team.
    • Participate in color strategy meetings with customers, supported by the Design team at APN.
  6. Bid Preparation and Reporting:
    • Utilize Excel for bid preparation files and sales reporting as needed.



  • 10+ years experience or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven track record in sales management within the flexible packaging industry.
  • Strong network and positive relationships with top CPG companies’ procurement decision-makers.
  • Ability to identify and secure bid opportunities and quotations within the BOPP Extrusion Lamination segment.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales conversions within designated timeframes.
  • Proficiency in Excel for bid preparation and reporting purposes.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.



Preferably based in Texas or nearby states to facilitate access to target markets.
