Expand and manage our Technologies market presence in their sales territory, and significantly increase the sales to customers that are strategic to our long-term success.  Will actively need to develop and then maintain our long-term relationships at these key customers.  The sales representative will advise key customers on product applications, potential application solutions, and new product introductions. A target account list with growth expectations will be determined, maintained, and updated by the sales representative in frequent discussions with the Sales Manager.


  • Personally manage accounts to achieve sales growth objectives, identify significant sales opportunities, devise solid plans for success at these key accounts, and develop sales forecasts and reports to support these efforts.
  • For your specific sales territory provide expertise and leadership in winning new business by working closely with both the customers, and also the various members of the team that might need to be involved.
  • Maintain close relationships with the key material suppliers that we work with to ensure that we utilize their knowledge and expertise when discussing opportunities with our key customers. With this approach we enhance our relationships with these suppliers, and also support our customers by finding the best choices to meet the needs of their applications.
  • Participate effectively in the planning process, which includes sales territory opportunity discussions, building opportunity funnels, weekly call reports, and quote log follow-up documentation.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on competitive activities in your sales territory.
  • Develop business plans to win at target accounts in our identified focus markets.
  • Provide relevant feedback to the Sales Manager regarding our strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and competitive threats within your sales territory.

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA.) with 2 to 5 years’ experience in inside sales, customer service, outside sales or technical sales in die cutting, 3m preferred converting or flexible materials converting of tape, rubber, foams, fabrics, papers, or equivalent work experience.
    • A proven track record of making sales calls and developing new markets will distinguish the most desirable candidate.
    • Must possess and demonstrate extremely strong persuasive, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • A demonstrated ability to work effectively with our customers, and the internal team without direct supervision.
  • The position requires significant daily travel within the sales territory, and roughly 10 to 20% overnight travel.
